Miss Jodine is out of the water for the season ----- I will be covering her up in the next week or two ------ Thanks for a great 2011----- we had a great end to the season with plenty of large Bass ---

Not sure where to start ---but we have some of the best fishing of the season in Sept and Early October ---There have been very Large Striped Bass along the beach --- averaging over 40 inches in large numbers --- it has been one of the best Months on record -- all have been caught on live Macks tight to the beach . One trip last week with good client Tom Newman pictured at the right we had several fish over 45 inches - and in the 40 lbs range -photo is attached. Tom fished with me in early Sept and had several great days ! It has been a spectacular few weeks !!!!! The water temps were still in the 60s here in early October which means we will will have a few more weeks of great fishing . 

This is the first break in quite awhile as I have been going everyday with charters  ---- as the winds are howling outside --- with the remains of Irene passing bye --- The past few days have some of the best fishing fishing this summer along the beach as we have had schools of fish averaging 28-38 inches right along the beaches and rocks . Had Tom out for a few days this week ---we had some off the charts fishing the past few days with live Macks most fish averaged over 30 inches with some larger ones mixed in .  
There are some Bluefish around ----but not in big schools ---as we still have plenty of Macks around to catch for live Bait .
The fly fishing has started to pick up as the fish have started to school up ----there is some early am action with birds etc over fish
Still have just a few dates open coming up here the next few weeks  ---give me a call

Have been very busy guiding the past two weeks ---lots of fish both in shore and offshore ---- nice size 36-45 inches are common . There have been roving schools of large fish under birds about 1 mile off the beach feeding on Herring ---these fish have been moving daily and are in great numbers -----several trips this week have averaged several fish over 40 inches with strikes right at the boat as these big fish are on the surface pushing herring up from the depths ---- fly --live macks and ronz lures have worked very well on these schools .
Still have a few dates available in July and early August ----give me a call to check to book a trip
Tuna have been spotty ------ but expect some schools to move in any day

The Striped Bass Fishing has been great ---averaging over 20 fish per trip with half the fish being over 28 inches ---with several in the 36-40 inch range . Live Mackerel are the key ---their are lots of fish along the coast. We do have have some small Bluefish starting to move in with several bite offs . Fly fishing has been slow --- with some early am feeds but not consistent
Tuna are just starting to show offshore with several reports of smaller fish south of us ----- there have been several Giants taken the past few days ---

As of June 20th we have been guiding quite a bit ----several nice fish on the fly 36 plus inches ---Live Bait fishing has been excellent ---averaging over 15-20 fish per trip --most are in the 28 -32 inch range ---- seeing some smaller fish in the 18 inch range
Plenty of Herring in the Piscataqua (offshore juvies) -- about 3-4 inches long . Fish have stated to showup along the coast ----- some bluefish bite offs along the coast. So far it is shapping up to be a good season

The arrival os Striped Bass has started here on the seacoast of New Hampshire ----we have many good sized fish arriving everyday since Memeorial day weekend. There is lots of bait in the Piscataqua River along with Macks ----- many of which are tinkers .
There have been some reports of Tuna offshore near Jefferies ---- chasing the first schools of Macks and Herring .
There are reports of lots of fish south of the Piscataqua --- so we should have an excellent June and early July based on the current reports.

Just finished up pushing the snow off the boat cover ---about 3 ft of it on the boat ----we have over 48 inches on the ground around the house. New cover for the leaning post is finished and will have to be picked up this week ----- hopefully we will get some warm weather this week to melt some of this ice . Starting to do some of the Fishing shows for the winter --- just finished the Fly shows in Marlboro and Somerset NJ ---saw many old friends ---we are all thinking of the upcoming season.
